T MINUS 9 DAYS AND COUNTING

Howdy ladies,

I hope all of you are doing well. I'm sorry that I have not been around much in the past few months. As most of you know a lot has been going on with my mom and sister.

On the 3rd of July we will be heading up there to help out. Everything is ok on this end. Still have a few things to work out on the other end though.

Please let me know how you are doing. I miss you all very much. I can't wait to get settled and get internet  and be here every day again.

Please don't forget lil' ol' me, k?  Thank you to those who have left comments on my last few posts. You make my day. Those who haven't been here may read them to catch up if you'd like. :)

Where Did Everyone Go??

Ok, now that I got your attention...lol Mmmmmmmm

Where did everyone go? I haven't been able to post as often as I'd like since I have had to go to the library when I can and I was without my car for a long time. I was able to post last friday. And haven't heard from anyone. Are you all away for the summer?  I haven't been able to read your blogs either so I don't know what you are all up too.

I hope all is well and that you are enjoying the summer. Can't wait to get moved and get the internet again. Sure do miss you all and you are in my thoughts and prayer every night. :)

T MINUS 19 DAYS AND COUNTING :)

Hello ladies,

This is what the inside of my house looks like....minus the cloud, words, and brown doggie.  Our doggie, Princess Downy is white. :)

Well, I have worked out everything on this end...well except for how to have a little more money, but I guess we will have to manage. Wow! I can't believe how much gas costs. We will be having to fill the car. And also the moving van...it takes diesel. 

Mom and sis are hanging in there. For most of the past two weeks mom has sounded better on the phone. Go mom! :) Sis has only mentioned once or twice in the same time frame that she is going nuts. That is good, really it is, when comparing it to 2 or 3 times a day. I am glad that things are a little better there for now.

Oh, wait....maybe I shouldn't put these things in the box like that. They may get broken...and anyway they don't fit....HEY WAIT,  DON'T DO THAT.....

 Hmm... I guess they fit now...oh well  LOL

It has been hot here the past few weeks. Mid to upper 80s and sometimes 90 something...yuckie. I am grateful for the cool breezes though. :)

I can't remember if  I mentioned in my last post that I have my car back. It was fixed to pass inspection, get registered and new tags.  Woohoo! Only one thing...will the 15 or so lbs I lost from walking and taking the bus for the past 6 months or so come back now? :( 

I hope to get internet by sometime in July or August so I can be here regularly again. I sure miss you all. You are all always in my thoughts and prayers. :)

Just A Quick Post

Hi everyone. I sure do miss you...

 

Just an update then I have to run. I am still without internet so I am at the library using the computer.

 

I DO have my car back, thank goodness. :) Got  a second inspection and passed, paid the registration and got new plates. Now I can drive again.  WOOOOOOHOOOOOO !!

 

Also our refund money finally came....one day after we were going to leave. lol  We are now planning on leaving on the 4th of July to go up to mom's in WA.

 

They are doing ok for now. Sis is not going nuts. Mom is sounding alot like her old self on the phone. Strong, alert and healthy. Let's pray for that to last through this month and beyond.

 

I do thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers. :)

 

Gotta run, let me know what you all are up to. I don't have enough time on the library computer to read your blogs. :(

Hi my friends...

I guess you missed my post from Friday I think it was. Probably coz of the Mother's Day holiday.  Scroll down and check it out. :) I hope you all had a great one.

My goodness...it is 87 degrees outside, maybe more. And it is only May. It is good tho that there is a little bit of a breeze. :) We have to go back to Evanston, Wy to empty our storage unit before the end of the month. If it is going to be this hot we won't be able to do it and we will have to pay the silly monthly bill til we come back from Washington.  THAT would not be a good thing.  

Just finished talking to my sister a few minutes ago.  Mom is not making good decisions. :( And she thinks that my sister and I are ganging up on her and conspiring against her. :(  We all just gotta hang in there til the end of the month when we can get up there.

Gosh...I am trying to think of a fun thing to talk about. lol Hmmm

 Just thought these were cute :)

I need to go and get the bus to the store/pharmacy and then home. Can't wait to be driving again.

Where Did Spring Go??

Howdy all....

I was having a hard time deciding what to call this post.  

I was thinking about Spring, moving, heat, and dandelions. :)

First where did spring go??  Just yesterday we had thunder and rain. THAT I would expect for this time of year. Today it is 77-81 degrees.....EWWWWWW! THAT is not right at all.

Well at the end of this month we will be moving, finally. Just 20 days or so away.  I hope that I can get everything organized and ready on time. It is starting to stress me. OH NO! Nope I will not let it. :)

Mom went home from the nursing home Wednesday of last week. And as a knew she would, she is refusing to cooperate with the home health people.  And my sis has been on the phone to me often ready to pull her hair out. :( We could sure use your prayers my friends.  

Now for the dandelions......

Ok not exactly dandelions, but dandelion fuzzies. :)  I remember when I was little making braclets, necklaces and headbands out of dandelions.....did you do that?  And I have always loved dandelion fuzzies. lol Really.  Make a wish and blow the fuzzies away. :)

 A couple years ago I took a picture of one that was growing in our yard. And I am not kidding it was about 4 feet high and the fuzzy part was bigger than a tennis ball. :)   Cool!

Well, I guess I should go. Time is limited here at the library.

Whew! I'm Exhausted :)

Hi everyone....

I hope you all haven't forgotten me...you know the 'out of sight out of mind' thing.

I miss you all so much. I wish I had the time to read all your posts and make comments...it is hard to do when I am at the library with limited internet time. I hope you are all doing well. You are always in my prayers.

Now for an update...

Mom is coming home from the nursing home tomorrow. She has been there a couple months. She does not like it. My sister and I thought that she was going to have to stay there. We were planning on moving her stuff out of her apartment.

We, my hubby and I and Princess Downy will be moving up there to help out at the end of May. So we have a lot of stuff to do to get ready. It makes my brain tired just thinking of it.

I have had to have my car worked on the past couple months so I have been taking the bus and power walking everywhere. Whew! Lost 10 lbs.  Thats a plus. :)

I have been reading alot and read the entire New Testament in January and just finished the BofM and I am in Exodus now in the Old Testament. Whew! Its been really great learning and understanding new things..things that I have missed the other times I have read them. :)

The weather is nice here...we have had a few nights that have gone below the mid 20s though.  And tomorrow snow flurries are in the forecast..how odd. :)

Well, maybe some time in June we will have the internet again and I will be here often again.
