Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there.

This is my dad and me. He was out of my life shortly after. I never knew him. :(

After I found my siblings from his next family I learned that my mom had made the right decision. Maybe after this life I will find out why he was the way he was.

He sure is good looking, isn't he? Kinda reminds me of the type that would have slicked back hair and a pack of cigarettes  rolled up in T shirt sleeve. lol Don't know why I think this, he makes me think of James Dean, isn't he the rebel type?

Ok now that I have totally made no sense at all....have a great week everyone. :)

Take care

Hi everyone,

I have just finished reading a great book :

This book is written by follow blogger Diana Kosmoski. Her blog is called Nana Diana Takes A Break.

This is a must read. Diana has a unique writing style that draws you into the story. She made me love Lucy and hate the others who were so mean to her. She made the characters each strong in their own way. Below is a description of the story.

Lucy was born and raised in Ridgebury, in the mountains of Pennsylvania; an area steeped in superstition. When Lucy was 6 she discovered she had the gift of “sight”-the ability to see the future of others but not her own. Her “sight” is somehow connected to the Deep Woods on the back of her farm and makes her an oddity to other children. When her father mysteriously disappears when Lucy is 9, she enters the Deep Woods looking for answers to questions she is too young to ask.

As a young girl, she marries into a religious order and eventually moves to the Valley towns of Athens, Sayre and Waverly . As a young wife, she is terribly unhappy and her life takes many twists and turns- including one of forbidden love, betrayal and abandonment.

Her quest for love takes her to Florida and the Midwest, but ultimately takes her home to the mountains to seek answers to age-old questions.

It is a story that will touch your heart.

I was hooked from the beginning and when I got to the end I wanted more.

This book is available to purchase at www.amazon.com in book form and also for Kindle. Also the author as an Etsy store where you can order it and have it autographed. :) Oh and this is her first book. Unbelievable !

Way to go, Diana!

Take care all and have a great week.
