THIS THAT AND FARMHOUSE PRIMS :)

Hi everyone,

Well the Seattle Seahawks did NOT win the Superbowl. I'm not thrilled about that but there's always next year.  :)

We have been getting spring weather here lately and its not even springtime...what's up with that? lol  Looks like the NE part of the country is getting everyone's winter this year. Maybe the little picture of the snowmen doing their snow dance will send some snow our way, ya think? :)

We are getting rain. Washington is famous for it's rain. And we have had big winds for the last couple of days. Ok, I have a question, I know there are snow blowers and leaf blowers...are there such things and leaf vacs?  All the landscape people do is blow the leaves off to one side and don't haul them away. Then the winds come and blow them all back.  Makes no sense to me. lol

Now, lately I have been wanting to do different crafts and found a new friend at www.farmhouseprims.blogspot.com Her name is Lecia and she is doing needle punch. I hadn't heard of it before and liked her work. We have emailed back and forth a few times. She was very encouraging when I said I would like to try it. She's a very sweet person. And very talented. Stop by and check out her blog if you like

I am also getting interested in latch hook again, spool knitting and cross stitching. Uh oh! Look out. lol Hopefully I can get good at these things and get my business blog up and running and sell some things. I hope that this will be the case as I have spent quite a bit of money buying supplies for each of these things.  And I have been watching a lot of how-to videos on youtube. lol

Well, gotta run. It is late, 1:17 am, and we have to get up early. Mel's dialysis appt is in the morning. He is doing well with it lately. Well, a lot better than at other times. :)

Take care and have a great week.

  1. Hi Janet, I sure hope you can make some things and sell them, too. The art end of it is always a lot of fun but the money end would be nice, too. xo Diana

  2. Hi! Our weather has been nice the last couple of days. I am not a snow person though. :) I would like to have one good one to play in though! Needle punch sounds like fun. I will check out her site. Glad to hear dialysis is going better.

  4. Hi Janet, how sweet of you to mention me in your post. I am just a beginner at needle punch but I find it fun and relaxing. I can't wait to see yours. And I love cross stitch, and do a little, but really find it difficult to see. I have trouble with leaves also, I have them all cleaned up and the least bit of wind they come down my basement steps. So glad your husband is doing well. Looking forward to seeing your creations, and hope you have lots of sales. hugs, Lecia
