AN AWFUL THING HAPPENED HERE, PRAYERS :(

I am not good at this. I feel so awfully sad right now. Close to tears. Friday evening, just 5 minutes up the road from me, in Burlington, Washington,  five people were shot in the mall.
A 16 year old girl, a 64 year old woman and her 95 year old mother were all dead at the scene. A man was flown to a trauma hospital in Seattle. He later died. And then another woman, her information unknown or just not released.

Not much information has been released. Motive unknown.
The shooter, 20 year old male who is an American citizen. His family, I believe moved here from Turkey many years ago. This is all we know. Now charged with 5 counts of murder, no bail. What a waste.  :(

Sorry to post something so sad.

May God bless the families and friends of these people with the strength to get through the next few days and weeks. And get through the " firsts" i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, holidays without loved ones. May they  feel His peace and love.

  2. My prayers go out for all that are suffering from sadness, and illness, and tragedy, etc..
There certainly are a lot of sad and terrible things going on in the world right now.
I read the April conference edition of the Ensign yesterday, and once again I was filled with hope. I know that God is in charge, and that he has a plan, and that we can look for the good, and serve one another, and in our own little way make the world a better place. I have recommitted myself to doing just that... serving others, and having a happy heart. I am determined to not let satan win!
