Trying Something Out

Hi everyone,

I am trying out two things tonight. First I made what is called a Word Cloud on Wordle.net. Clink Here To Try It Out . And second, I am trying to insert it's html code into this  post.

The words I chose for this Word Cloud where from the Sermon on the Mount in the New Testament book of Matthew, chapter 5.

 

Ok I hope this worked right. Then I have learned something new and cool. I have to figure out how to have no background color or out of focus words. It is different putting this into a post than it is onto the sidebar.

S L I D E R S.....

Hi everyone, 

Does anyone remember the program called Sliders? It was and still is about four friends who "slide" through a spiraling vortex into parallel dimensions.  They always land on an Earth and always San Fransisco, (i think), their hometown.  Most of the time things are bad where they "land." Or they run into their doubles. And they have to stay there until their 'sliding' machine says its time to go. It can be hours or even days. It is kinda fun to watch. Anyway.....

I was thinking the other day that I felt much like a  'slider'  About eleven months ago I 'slid' through a vortex. It took me to a lovely place. A place where all the people I met were different from each other yet the same in that they all spent time on their computers 'posting' little stories about their lives, their families, their hobbies.  They wrote about the good times and the bad. The times when they or a loved one was sick and needed extra prayers. So they asked for this help. :) And everyone came together in one giant 'prayer circle' from all over the country.  How wonderful this place was. Then...

WHOOOSH!!

I got sucked out through this vortex and returned to the lone and dreary world. Lol  I have been in this world now for about two months. I want so badly to go back to this Utopia of a world. This Blogland. But it is so hard to get back. :(  

I used to always be thinking about something to write every day. I was always so excited to know that my boring little life was interesting to a few of these sweet people. :) And I was so excited that I was going to have comments and emails in the mornings. I even checked the internet on my cell phone for comments before I got out of bed. :)  It made my day.

Now I don't seem to have the 'Umpf' (sp) to do anything. Maybe it is that I can't have peace and quiet at the computer because for the time being the tv is right next to me and Mel is always watching it. ( we just GOT to get the other room fixed up) It is a storage room at the moment. Too many boxes to count. I think I have mentioned that before. I want to unpack but there is no place to unpack to. Or maybe it is because I have been feeling so crummy lately. Or both. Oh my goodness..am I whining? Sorry...

Anyway I loved this Blogland place and the people I met there and I want to go back.  Can some one help me, help me, help me pleeeeze. (how do i make music notes here)? lol ; -)

Maybe if all of you reach out your hands and grab a hold of me you can pull me back through the vortex, huh? :)

IT RAINED!!

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend.

We had rain over the weekend. It was wonderful. And it was sooo needed.  The days have been so hot for so long that this cool rain was very welcome. 

I'm not sure when we will be getting autumn weather for good though. I sure can't wait for that to happen. Because I just love to see the pretty colors of the leaves on the trees before they fall. And because next comes the cooler weather and the snow.  Yessss snow, I know it may be too early to talk about snow but I just love it and can't can't CAN'T wait for it to get here. :) 

Have you ever had cloudbursts to where it is pouring like this?

I remember going into Walmart and  later starting to leave and having to stay for at least 15 minutes waiting for this to stop.  And at the grocery store where I worked this happened once or twice too. So cool...

I sure have missed being here. Also after being away for a month it has been so hard to get back into the blogging spirit. I hope soon to have this under control. lol

HOWDY HOWDY

Howdy everyone,

Well we are here in Logan, Utah.  It's so nice here. The thing that I like about this area is that we are in a valley surrounded with mountains.  They are so close to the east. Years ago they reminded me of a picture postcard. I still think of that. :)

The move was exhausting.  I am still staring at boxes. I don't know how soon we will get things unpacked.  I don't know what else to say about that right now.

I have been thinking about Autumn. How nice it would be to have the rain and the cool weather.  I love to see the leaves changing color, so pretty. I found this nice autumn background and these pictures.  Dreaming of a change in the weather. :)

I am so glad to be back. You don't know how much I've missed you ladies. I have read through some of your posts already but made no comments. Sorry, I will start fresh tomorrow. :) I am glad that you are all ok and are enjoying your summer. I know that you are also waiting for cooler weather. It will be here before we know it. :)

Hi everyone,

We got moved to Logan, Utah. We have been here just over two weeks. This is the first time I have had to post. I am at the library in town.  I will have internet in a few weeks, I hope.

I just miss you all so much.  I have not been able to read all your post for a while. I do hope all is well. Been praying for you all every night. :)

I hope that summer has been good to you.  We have had more heat than we want or need but we will survive.

Have a great rest of the month. I will try to get back here as soon as I can. Gosh, I miss you all.
