Ok, so it really wasn't much snow but snow none the less. We got a little dusting of snow Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. We are suppose to get more snow showers during the next few days but not much.
First I would like to say to those of you who are not snow people or not ready for it yet, I am sorry for what you are about to see. :) To those of you like me, who are more than ready or who love snow at any time of the year...here are some neat snow pictures.
These were taken at our place in the mountains back in 2004-2005.
In the picture with the road sign there are measurements on the post. Can you see how deep the snow is there? Kinda looks close to 3 feet or more. Now that's snow. I love it when it is like that and all over every branch on every tree. On the fence rails and everything. Sighhhh......
On nights when it is like this outside, when the wind is blowing the snow is falling and it is 20 below...it is great to curl up by the fire, drink hot chocolate and watch the snow fall. Oh no I better stop or I may go crazy. lol
I should go now. :) Take care everyone.

I just knew that you would be 'over the moon happy' with this snow :)
ReplyDeleteGo get that cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your favorite time of year.
Warm wishes..

Snow...bummer. I liked it as a kid...but the older I get the less I like it. Stay safe. xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! We usually get some about twice a year. Here's hoping we get some too this winter!
ReplyDeleteJanet, wanted to thank you for following my blog, Creative Cain Cabin, and I am now your newest follower. I love your snow pics, we are winter sports people in our house, so we love the snow. Was hoping this hurricane would bring us a bunch, my boys are ready to snowmobile and ski.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week and take care:)
I finally got a chance to come around and visit and I do apologize that it took so long but things have been crazy here.
ReplyDeleteWe may be getting snow on Wednesday into Thursday. We still have some people in our area without power but over all, we were lucky this time with Sandy not causing too much damage here,,,
Hugs,
Debbie
