Kerin, I am surprised that you are not getting much winter weather there. I hope there is enough snow to get through the spring and summer without droughts. I will pray for that too. Take care, Janet
Janet, ((((HUGS)))) Thank you for thinking about me....Us Iowans were thinking just what the poem said...this weekend it will be in the 30's..You will see people with shorts on....Not me...I won't wear a jacket....Only sweats... We all know we will pay for the warmer temps in a week or so...so we enjoy the 30's.....Praying for your hubby...Lisa
HI Diana, I am glad to hear from you. Sorry that I took this long to reply. I hope you are feeling better. Sure miss getting to read your blog every day. Take care, Janet
Lecia, thanks for stopping by. I went and bought supplies to start doing the punch needle. Also I am getting interested in doing rugs that way or hooking them. We will see if I am coordinated enough to do this. Wish me luck. :) Janet
I am a christian. I love reading the scriptures. I love discussing doctrinal topics. I like the rustic mountain life. Primitive crafts and decor. And I am totally addicted to crocheting and loom knitting. Winter is my favorite time of year. I like sitting by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. I also love the smell of bread baking. We used to live in the Uinta mountains in northern Utah. It was lovely there and I miss so much.
That made me shiver just reading it! We are getting ice right now through noon tomorrow in SW Virginia. Can't wait for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteHi there, I sure wish we could bet some of that Iowa weather here.
DeleteKeep warm.
Janet
That is a cute poem :)
ReplyDeleteLuckily, we've had a mild winter, so far.
I pray for snow in the mountains and rain in the valleys .
