I KNOW I KNOW IT ISN'T WINTER YET....

....but I just couldn't resist. If it is going to be cold at night then it should rain or snow or something, right? :)

I love this picture..the trees.. the snow... the quietness. I didn't have another  picture of this size for the fall season. That's ok though...winter is just around the corner, right??

Well finally got  linked up to the Newbie Party. Visited a couple blogs. Then my computer went nuts and I had to reboot. Then I couldn't get back to it because I didn't know how to without having to do everything all over again. lol Oh well, I will try again next week.

COUNTDOWN TO CONFERENCE :)

Howdy everyone,

T minus 12 hours and 45 mins or so and counting. LOL

My church has a general conference where many people from all around the world watch via television, internet, and in person in Salt Lake City, Utah. Or listen to on the radio. Thousands travel to Salt Lake to see it in person.

The conference is a two day event with two 2-hour sessions each day where the church leaders speak about different gospel topics. This happens twice a year: the first weekend in April and the first weekend in October.

There is always something new to learn. Something new that will help you feel the spirit of God burn within your heart.  It is a very uplifting, faith strengthening, and spiritual occasion. People of many faiths, nationalities, different walks of life are inspired.

Below is what are called word clouds. A word cloud is created from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to the words that appear more frequently in the text source. These have been made from talks given by church leaders at general conference over the past few years.

Hi everyone and welcome to my new followers.

Hundred by Halloween? Yep that's what I said. :)  

Almost one year ago, on October 31st, I started this blog.  I have had so much fun. Everyone I have met here in blogland has been so sweet. Well, it is almost October 31st again and I am wondering if I can reach 100 followers by then.  I have just 27 days to get 35 more followers. :)

I think I might need some help. I would love to meet more great people. If anyone would like to help me by telling some of your nice blogland friends about me that would be great. :)

I have gone to a site that is suppose to have a 'newbie' party for getting more followers but I guess I don't get what to do once I get there. Is there a "Newbie Party for Dummies" book out there? LOL

Finally we have gotten the multicolored falling leaves AND the falling temps of Autumn. :) Yayyyy!  It is so pretty to see. And it means that winter is just around the corner. YESSSSSSS. :) We had 30 degrees last night. So we fired up the furnace.

To Pinterest Or Not To Pinterest

Good morning from Logan Utah,

This morning I have been thinking about Pinterest. It is a site that lets you make 'boards'. Well, pin boards..you can 'pin' pictures to them. You can make them about anything you want. Your favorite things. 

I know that is not the best explanation in the world. :) But that is all I know about it.

Anyway, I was wondering how many of you are on Pinterest and what do you think of it? What do you have on it? Do you like it? 

I'd love to hear your thoughts. 

I guess we will be working on emptying boxes and organizing things today. Fun, fun...NOT lol

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL :)

 Hi everyone,

Well, fall is sorta here in Logan, Utah. The wind is blowing a little. The leaves are falling. The evenings are cooler, almost too cool. 

We should take a drive soon to where we can see the changing colors of the leaves. 

Well, I guess this is a short and sweet post. I hope all of you have a great Monday and a wonderful week.

PS Well I am still crazy. It is now 5:40 am. I have not been to bed yet. I am listening to old devotionals and conference addresses. I couldn't watch TV today because I was away and when I was here hubby was watching the TV and didn't want to share the remote. lol 

My LDS blog will have a new post on it soon for those of you who follow. I want to tell you about what I got to do today. It was sweet an awesome. :)
