MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !

 

Hello everyone,

I can't believe that I haven't posted since October.  Things have been real crazy here. Not a good thing so I will not spoil my time here mentioning it.  I'll just say we need your prayers.  :)

I miss you all so much. I am sorry I have missed what has  been going on with you and yours. I pray that you and your families are all well and enjoying the holiday season.

 

This is what I am missing a lot. I love snow. Isn't it pretty? This is a picture of the snow in the area that we lived in, in the mountains of northern Utah. We always got several feet of snow. It was great.

Here in Washington state the weather is different. Well, in the western part of the state anyway. We have only had a little frost. Lots of rain and freezing temps. Oh and wind that knocks everything over outside too. Lol But no snow.

About the season....I have been thinking a lot about Jesus and what he did for us. I do think about this all year round but especially now when we celebrate his birth. 

 

I don't think any of us can really understand just how much He did for us. He came from a place where He had glory like God, to be born in a manger. He lived a sinless life that we would do well to do our best to imitate. He taught us how to live, to serve each other to love each other. He loved us so much that we did all this and died for us. Suffered the pains that we should suffer for our sins. He did it so that we wouldn't have to if we would believe in Him and come unto Him.

He also suffered all of the feelings of all of us who lived, are living now and who will yet live on this earth. He felt every emotion that we would ever feel...physical, mental and emotional pain....sadness, loneliness, hate, anger, guilt, dispare, depression, love, happiness and so much more. He did this so that He would know how to help and succor us in our times of need.

I am so grateful for this. And honestly can’t thank Him enough.

I would love to write more but I am limited on the library computer.

HOWDY HOWDY !!

Howdy everyone,

How are you? We are ok. Still trying to get our lives in order. lol  Mom is in a nursing home. My sister is having big health problems but I think we have things figured out.  Other people just have to cooperate. :)

We may be settled in about 1 month and have the internet. And I will  be back in the saddle again. :)

Ok now for the cute stuff....

This, everyone IS OUR PRINCESS DOWNY :) Ain't she sweet??  She is getting really excited about writing her own posts or maybe even having her own blog. :)

She can't decide if she wants to call it THE PRINCESS DOWNY DIARIES or FROM A DOGGIE'S POINT OF VIEW. Maybe you all can help her to decide. Hmm?

 Anyway...I hope all of you are fine. Sorry I am not able to stop by and read your posts.  I am still on the library computers with limited time.

Updates On Mom and Me :)

Hi all,

Wow! I can't believe that it is almost October. I love the fall colors, the pumpkins, and fun activities of this season. I love this time of year when the holidays are on their way. :)

Well now on a more serious note... my sister and I were with mom in the ER for 12 hours or so a week ago Saturday. Her knee locked up and she couldn't walk. Also it was very swollen and they had to drain it.

She is in a nursing home now.  She saying that she thinks it is time for her to stay there.  She was going to do that a few years ago and changed her mind.  I think she is sure this time. We have to figure out the financial stuff now.

My sister is getting a bit of a break here. She has had to try to take care of mom for a few years as well as care for herself with all her medical, mental and emotional problems.

Trying to get everyone and everything squared away is very challenging. We will be clearing out their apartment and finding a place for my sister to live.

I am also trying to take care of me and my hubby. Whew! Just thinking about it all makes me woosy. Is that how you spell that? lol

Anyway, life goes on....we are also still trying to get moved so we can completely unpack and get the internet going.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't post in August. My goodness. :)

 

Well today is the first day of school here in Mt Vernon, WA. Makes me start thinking of Fall. We saw a nice place while driving the other day where the leaves are starting to change colors.

 

I love autumn colors. :) Now the weather just has to cooperate and cool down. And get rid of the humidity. lol

 

Uh oh, now thinking of pumpkins and corn and decorating.  Gotta get moved to a nice place so I can decorate.

 

 

 

 

I hope we can be moved by the end of the month. Cross your fingers, toes, eyes and everything for us ok? Oh and pray really hard for us too.

 

Prayer, that is what works. :)

How are all of you?  We are still starring at tons of boxes. lol I have found a new place that we might be able to move to that is a lot better than this little dump. lol Sorry but it is just awful.

The new place has 2 bedrooms 2 bath and w/d.  And it is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We have to wait a few weeks to see what happens with that. Needs lots of prayers. We really need to leave this place we are in. It is not healthy.

I have been sick the past few days. I am not sure why. If it is the smell and the fact that I think there is mold here. :( Yuckie

The new place is great. So have happy thoughts for us. We would be so happy there.

The weather here is usually in the 70s and very humid but we are fine. Melting at times but fine. lol

Gotta run. Time on the computer is expiring.  Please let me know what you are up to, ok?

Princess Downy Update

Hello ladies,

I am still trying to unpack. I don't think it will ever get totally done. We are now in a one bedroom one bath place that is so small it is scary.  It also has a few other problems but I won't get into that now. :)

Today I would like to make an announcement...Princess Downy has asked if she may post here occasionally. :)  I have been able to get a few cute pictures of her on my cell phone and as soon as I get a cord to plug it into my computer or a library computer you will see our little Princess. She feels that she should be able to comment too. lol

She is very excited to chat with you all. And a little nervous too. But I think that she will get over that and have a fun time.

Hi Everyone

Howdy, well we are in Washington. We have been here since the 4th. I have been so busy and exhausted that I haven't been able to get here  to post. I am at the city library. I think we will have internet in a couple of weeks then I can be here regularly again. :)

We had to take what we could get apartment-wise...We now have a one bedroom, one bath apt. :( It is way too small and I am going nuts trying to figure out what to do with our stuff. It wasn't clean when we moved in and it smelled weird too. Been working on trying to get things done.  Help! Help! lol

Princess Downy has been doing weird things since we moved here and daddy was in the ER last night and has a bad infection. AND I haven't had a break from my sister yet. My goodness! I am going to have to tell her that I can only do things for her on certain days and that's it. I will never get anything done if I don't.

I have already had to take her to the ER.  She is fine just gets overwhelmed when she is in pain and can't wait to talk to regular doctor. I understand but with her it gets out of hand. The ER people have seen her way too often there. :(

Mom is doing ok, sorta. :)
