I hope you have all had a great day. I was kinda lazy today, not feeling too well. I will be ok though. :)
I just thought of a memory. About 24 or 25 years ago when my son was about 2 or 3years old. My mom wanted to go for a drive. So we, my sister and her son Jeremy and my son Robbie and I and mom, went from Camano Island, WA to a little place called La Conner, WA. I hope I remembered the right town.
She wanted to show us the tulips and daffodils. They grow there in huge fields. Rows and rows of them. So pretty and colorful. When we were there it was a little windy. The flowers leaned to one side then the other side. Then they stood straight and nodded their little heads twice. lol It was too cute.
After that whenever mom wanted to go there she would say. 'Let's go see the side to side, nod nods'. :) Also on the way there I think it was we saw peacocks for the first time. Well in person, anyway. Rob and Jeremy thought they were cool. :)
Anyway, we are far from daffodil and tulip weather here. It is in the single digits or close to it, I believe. And tomorrow or the next day it is supposed to snow. BRRRR
I should go. Thank you for stopping by. Take care....
Oh the flower's look BEAUTIFUL! Also all the beautiful colors!

Hope you are starting to feel better!! I just love daffodils and tulips--at our last house I had HUNDREDS of tulips. That was before I started painting so much-our kids were little and I would work on the flowerbeds while I watched them play outside. I planted a lot when we built this house but they have died out now--not enough time to work on the beds.

Oh Janet, I love tulips and daffodils! The daffodils are already blooming here and the tulips will be out in a couple of months. When I went out to Seattle to visit my sister one Spring, she took me to see fields full of tulips somewhere on one of our meandering rides through the state of Washington. Wouldn't it be funny if it were the same fields?
