Good morning ladies,
Do you smell that smell? Breathe in deep through your nose...now can you smell it? That is the wonderful smell of freshly mowed grass. I love that smell. :)
The grass really grew a lot in just this week. Even with little rain. Did you know that the smell comes for gases that are released by each injured blade of grass? And that the smell is actually a stress reliever? Cool :)
Just a few more spring pictures...
Ahhhh......so pretty. :)
Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday.....
Janet- I have always loved the smell of fresh cut grass. When I was growing up on the farm in PA it was one of the things I looked forward to...when they cut the hayfields and that Heavenly scent would envelop you. Lovely flowers here, too, Janet! xo Diana

Freshly mowed grass is the true smell of the start of warm weather! We cut our grass 2 days before we left for Virginia and came home to find our neighbors cut it while we were gone!! It's growing like crazy!! Tulips are my favorite flower--so pretty!!--Jan
