A Lazy Day

My goodness what a lazy day we had today. Embarrassingly lazy.

It was windy and a little rainy today.  I had a Dr appt and hubby had an appt too but since he didn't sleep well or maybe even at all during the night he was too tired to go. And I wasn't feeling well earlier. We cancelled both appts and went to bed.

And tonight I just can't think of a thing to write about. I guess I have blogger's block. :( I do have an idea but it is something that would take a lot of thought and organization of pictures and I don't think I have the strength tonight.

My goodness. I think the only thing I want or can think about tonight is moving. I think I mentioned it here a while back that we will be moving, soon hopefully, to Logan, Utah.  Logan is in northern Utah just a little ways from the Utah/Idaho border. It is just a couple hours away. I used to live there with my son just over 10 years ago. I loved it there. We still have friends there. A couple we know wants us to move back and we are going there to spend a couple days with them in a couple of weeks.

I am excited about going. May even meet one of my new blogging friends. She will be up from southern Utah to visit family in a month or two. It will be fun to meet her. I have another blogging friend from southern Utah too. It would be great to be able to see her sometime too. :) Also I think I may have a job. That will be nice. So I just want the next couple weeks to hurry by so we can be on our way.

Hmm, I guess I wasn't completely blocked. I did think of something to write about. :)

Gotta run though. Have a wonderful Friday ladies. Take care....

  1. Hehe, I love your funny quote about the block!Sometimes it is so nice just to give in and rest up, isn't it? Sometimes I think we are all so obsessed with Achieving and forget to fully experience just Being ....
I can sense a little worm of anticipation wriggling in you, new beginnings maybe?
It's fun to have a new hope to warm you!
I'll look forward to hearing all about it soon.

  3. Good Morning Janet!

You are a wise woman.. to listen to your body and to rest when you need to.
I do hope that you and your hubby are feeling better this morning.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that everything works out, and that you are able to make the move, and get the job!
What a blessing that would be for you.

  6. We all need those lazy days to recharge our batteries. I hope you do get to meet some of your blogging buddies. It is so much fun when that happens. I have met a few, one completely by accident which was really fun!
I hope the rest of your weekend goes well.
