No Problem And Remember??

Hi everyone,

We got to Salt Lake City without any problem.  At home we got just a dusting of snow over night. Not the 4-6 inches we were expecting.  The interstate was mostly clean the entire trip. There was more snow on the ground in the Salt Lake Valley.  We are staying over night cause Mel has an appt tomorrow. Then we will be heading back home.

Thats about all that's happening here.  I'd love to hear from you.  What have you been up to today?  As I mentioned once, I love getting comments first thing in the morning. It's a great way to start off my day. :) Or sometimes I am awake in the early morning hours and check for comments. :)

I have a few ideas for upcoming posts. You won't want to miss them.  LOL Like I am a great author or something. :) I like getting emails that are 'Remember?' Like do you remember Hula Hoops,  Ducan yo-yos, Metal Slinkys, Pogo sticks, Paddle ball, Tinker toys, and Linclon Logs, paint by number pictures, jacks, hop scotch, marbles....

What other toys do you remember? I'd love to hear from you. :)

Gotta run. Take care

  2. Well, first off, I hope all the medical tests are okay. I owned one of the first Barbies because my cousin had one and although I didn't want to play with her I wanted to sew for her. They used to come with little booklets that showed all their outfits and I would try to duplicate them.

Glad your trip was safe and hope your return is just as safe. xo Diana

  3. Hi Janet--I commented early but it disappeared. :( I had all the same toys as you, slinkies etc., but my favorite playthings were the kittens we always dragged home, put on the front porch, and then told mom they "followed " us home! I had a lot of dolls too but they were all broken, bald, and naked. My brothers built a treehouse with the first step too high for me--I would hit them when they came down with the dolls (that I NEVER played with) and thus, broken dolls. When my sister and I grew up, mom got our dolls from the attic--hers were pristine with beautiful hair and clothes--mine were filthy, bald , and of course naked!! Hope hubby's tests are good!!-hugs, Jan
