Well, we had a fun time at my sister in law's. And as I mentioned before she DID have their Christmas tree up. And her log home living room is so nice and cozy. Dinner was great. My tummy still feels full, but my taste buds are wanting something. I am not sure what to do about that. lol
I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends
Those of you who are going shopping tomorrow or are already sitting outside waiting for a store to open, have a great time. Take care

So glad you had a cozy Thanksgiving.. We don't have Black Friday a lot here in Canada although according to the newscast it is on it's way.. smile..
ReplyDeleteGoing to a craft show, though..
Have a blessed day, friend...
Hi Janet,
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday in my house is simply getting out of bed after sleeping off the turkey dinner. This morning my scales smirked at the pound I gained yesterday!
You asked about the Seattle earthquake we experienced. It was January 30, 1995 at my sister's anniversary party. The quake was a 5.0 and was centered about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. The only physical damage I could see was in my hotel room on the ground floor. The tile floor in the bathroom had a large crack in it. It was enough to frighten us East Coasters who had flown out for the party as we had never experienced a quake before.
Hope you have a wonderful day. Your turkey should be thawed completely by today or tomorrow so you can celebrate Thanksgiving all over again. Blessing to you and your family!
Hi, my name is donna and I am new to your blog but we share several blogger friends. I have enjoyed reading your posts. We are not much on Black Friday shopping but my oldest daughter and her husband love it. Visit me sometime if you have time at my blog www.merryheartcrafts.com I hope you have a great day and God bless.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. Always a beautiful treat.
Actaully my husband and I went out last night, yes I know crazy but we were actually able to get 3 of the 8 grandkids presents they had been wanting at fantastic prices, so it was worth the wait. DH had a fun time experiencing it first hand for once. Met alot of nice folks standing in line waiting for 10pm when the sales began. We were inside the store, but you couldn't remove the sale item from the pallet until 10pm.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
